Description

This workshop will cover how to use the basic tools of storytelling, such as characters, plot, setting, and conflict, to craft a compelling narrative through still photography.

By applying the fundamentals of visual storytelling to their work, participants can move beyond one-dimensional snapshots to more evocative and informative photographic projects.

Through a mixture of lecture, class discussion, and hands-on application, participants will explore the concepts of storytelling, and how they influence the mood, emotion, and statement of their photos.

Students are expected to bring a camera and email three of their own unedited photographs to Sean Reagan ahead of time.
