Spark is an inclusive, interactive, energizing and participatory-three day event blurring the lines between gallery, play room, carnival and art fair. It’s designed to be a living space for artistic and creative personal experimentation incorporating painting, drawing, photography, poetry, makers tables (we provide the supplies), installations, live music, film and spoken word events. And more.

We can’t wait to see what you’ll take home.

Try something new or try something old in a new way.

Our goal is to build community through experiences that are bold, fun, and immersive. The future of art is participatory and celebrates creatives working across disciplines, mediums and genres.

Kick-start each day with wild writing poetess on fire, Judyth Hill, who will energize, engage and ignite your imagination coupling words with music, words with movement, words with color … all burning with possibilities of what’s to come next.

Step inside, write a little (or a lot) and leave your mark on a living, evolving story space at SPARK. In this drop-in writing experience, creativity never stands still. Whether you’re moved by a line of poetry, an evocative image, or a fleeting phrase, you’ll find prompts designed to ignite something new. Write a paragraph, a haiku, or a scene before wandering off to your next inspiration, or stay and let your words catch fire. Perfect for wanderers, word-lovers, and anyone who believes in the power of story.

Explore the art of storytelling through natural materials such as leaves, bark, dried fruit skins, and other organic elements. Guided by an intuitive and imaginative process, you will combine these found materials with your personal vision to create meaningful, tactile objects that hold narrative, memory, and emotion. No prior experience is needed — just a sense of curiosity and a willingness to explore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYrkCfBtKU8&t=2s

Discover the playful balance of focus, rhythm, and joy as you learn how the simple act of juggling can feel like pure magic. Only on Tuesday, November 11 at 11:30 a.m.

Together, we’ll explore what happens when we push AI tools into uncharted creative territory: absurd, poetic, emotional, and even nonsensical. Expect laughter, chaos, and the occasional breakthrough as we test where inspiration ends and invention begins. Bring your curiosity, skepticism, and wildest ideas. We’ll provide the prompts and the pixels.

Unleash your creativity as you twist, loop, and shape wire into art. Only on Wednesday, November 12 at 1:30 p.m.

A crime has been committed, and the culprit might be sitting next to you. In this high-energy, interactive storytelling session, professional improvisers and daring participants bring a murder mystery to life in real time. Clues emerge, motives unravel, and no two performances are ever the same. Whether you jump on stage as a suspect or play detective from the crowd, you’ll help shape the chaos, laughter, and (possibly) justice that follows. A mix of improv, storytelling, and audience mischief . . . because art should always keep you guessing.

Servio invites you to learn how fabric becomes voice. Through his clothing art and live creations, he shows how what we wear can speak our truest selves — playful, daring, quiet, or bold. Bring a shirt or fabric and let Sergio show you how it can be transformed to express who you are.

Kar Elizondo will play with makeup to show how little things can make a difference.

Light is Life and this co-creative offering space is where Science meets Heart and spins into Art.
We will explore Light as revelatory science..poetic metaphor … spiritual concept … and principal of
art. I will provide ideas and supplies to create conceptual artistic expression of our devotion to
LIGHT and LIFE.

Artist Kar Elizondo shares how color and emotion guide her brush as she “paints her way through life.”

Everyone is invited to pick up a brush and leave their mark in a collective artwork that grows with each participant’s touch.

Explore the symbolic language of these ancient tools and how they can spark intuition, reflection, and personal insight.

Step into a playful, mirror-filled space designed for creativity and reflection—literally! Experiment with angles, poses, and light as you capture selfies or portraits of friends.

Unleash your imagination with colorful Lego bricks and see what you can create! Build something incredible — whether it’s a tiny masterpiece, an abstract design, or a bold structure.

Join in a collective act of creativity! Add elements to chicken wire sculpture and watch it evolve throughout the day. Or start a smaller piece of your own and see how imagination takes shape in 3D.

Be surprised by who steps up to the mic. It may be you. Join in and rant, rave, speak up, and speak out. Be surprised by who steps up to the mic.

Put your creativity to the test by transforming discarded materials into something new and unique.

Explore an inspiring collection that reflects the creativity and spirit of our community and take home an original work of art.
